Santorini at Easter is a destination where you should definitely go once in your life! This is because it takes place in one of the most atmospheric customs, I could say also a romantic one, in Greece. On the evening of Good Friday, the village of Pyrgos/Kalisti is transformed into a medieval village. There is no electric lighting at all, instead, thousands of tins with lanterns are lit next to each other, on walls all around the village, on the small churches and on every pavement.
